Remote mountainous regions with inconvenient transportation often face difficulties accessing drinking water. Shandong Xiongtai Machinery has developed and produced a drilling rig for boring diversion holes for mountain spring water to bring convenience to customers. After field investigations of local geographical environments, we found that many areas have abundant water resources. However, tough mountain roads and terrain restrictions create obstacles to water intake. With our drilling rig, users can drill at proper positions and channel underground mountain water reserves to accessible locations via diversion boreholes, effectively solving drinking and domestic water shortages.

2. Product Advantages

The rig runs on electric power. A matched 50kW generator set supplies power to the whole system. The main unit can be disassembled, with power delivered via cables to cut labor workload.The main rig can be split into lightweight separate assemblies including drive motor, gearbox and base, making transportation up mountains much easier.It adopts a FAW automotive gearbox featuring stable performance and rational structure. Equipped with 4m drill pipes, it minimizes guide rod operations even at drilling depths up to 200 meters, saving effort and time.Drilling adopts water-air mixing technology for eco-friendly operation and less dust emission. It is fitted with a BW-160 mud pump and a pressure-certified water-air mixing air storage tank to eliminate potential safety hazards.The rig’s electric control panel is equipped with a wireless remote controller, enabling long-distance operation of the main machine.
