The SH30-2A engineering investigation drill is developed and manufactured by our company with significant investment. It is suitable for drilling in cultivated soil, cohesive soil, sand and gravel, miscellaneous fill, and other formations. Its main applications include placer gold exploration, as well as engineering geological survey for industrial and civil buildings, highways, railways, and bridge projects. The drill features simple operation, a high degree of mechanization, light weight, compact structure, good disassembly performance, and easy transportation. It can be disassembled and carried in mountainous areas. Equipped with a pair of rubber wheels, it can also be towed by vehicles to move between construction holes in urban areas and other flat road conditions.

The SH30-2A engineering investigation drill supports both percussion and rotary drilling modes. Accordingly, its drilling tools are divided into percussion tools and rotary tools. To meet customers' individual requirements, please order the tools as needed; the standard configuration does not include rotary drilling functionality.

Tools for percussion drilling include: lifting adapter, weight bar, percussion rod, guide pipe, and percussion bit. When taking soil samples, use the same tools but replace the percussion bit with a soil sampler.

Tools for retrieving sand and gravel with a sand bailer include: lifting adapter, weight bar, swivel joint, and sand bailer. Casing must be run when drilling in sand and gravel layers to protect the borehole wall and prevent collapse. The casing is generally advanced downward with the percussion footage by manual reciprocating rotation using a set of chain tongs and pipe wrenches.
